I am a naturopathic doctor trained in Applied Kinesiology and am currently participating in advanced studies of Doctor of Homeopathy.
I was awarded the Diploma as Physician after successfully completing my training in Medicine at the University of Zurich Medical School, Zurich, Switzerland. In Switzerland and the United States I have received further training in General Surgery, part of which was done at UNM, KUMC, Hahnemann University and in New York. I have also completed a Fellowship in Burns at USF, Tampa Bay Regional Hospital, the state of Florida’s largest burn center and a Fellowship in Hand Surgery at St. Leonhard’s Clinic, St. Gallen, Switzerland, a clinic that pioneered in orthopedic outpatient procedures using local and regional anesthesia.
I have further been exposed to transplant surgery, especially the heart, while volunteering at Columbia University.
Through my extensive work in New York as a house physician I have broadened my medical knowledge in all fields of medicine including general surgery, breast surgery, orthopedic surgery, vascular surgery, plastic surgery, oncology, internal medicine, pulmonology, cardiac care, geriatrics, gynecology/obstetrics, pediatrics, psychiatry, and orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation. The patients I have cared for included treatments in the operating room, the intensive care unity, the floor and the emergency room and in outpatient clinics. In Terre Haute, Indiana, have received further training in emergency medicine.
I hold an active medical license in the state of California and New York.
Since Medical School I have always been interested in Naturopathic Medicine.
I have continually expanded my interest in Naturopathic Medicine as well as experienced the many benefits while receiving treatments in Homeopathy, Chiropractic, Acupuncture and TCM, Energy Medicine, Craniosacral Therapy, Aroma Therapy, Music, Rolfing, Colonic Therapy, Nutritional Counseling, different forms of Massage such as hot stone, trigger point and medical as well as Infrared and Finnish Sauna.
In addition I have been doing Yoga for many years, and for the last three years Tai Chi, including Sword & Saber, Pushing Hands and Qigong, as well as most recent Ba Gua.
I have received my Education in Applied Kinesiology in 2017 and 2018 at the Kinesiology Institute. I hold a Certificate in Energy Kinesiology Fundamentals, Energy Kinesiology Certification Program and Biochemistry Kinesiology Certification Program.
I am receiving my Education in Classical Homeopathy at the Caduceus Institute of Classical Homeopathy. I hold a Certificate in Acute Homeotherapeutics.
I do love animals and nature. I love to go camping with my dog and take long walks with my dog. I do love bicycle riding and I do love to read and to do research. I do love cats as well.
